Ball Screw Support Bearings

Overview

DGBB

High-precision angular contact thrust ball bearings for precision ball screws are designed for a wide variety of applications with a range of high rigidity and high load capacity series available.

Lineup Highlights

  • A high rigidity series for machine tools provides high axial rigidity and precise rotation with low drive power.
  • A sealed high rigidity series for machine tools improves life and reliability.
  • A high load capacity series for electric injection molding machines offers longer service life and higher permissible loads through optimized ball diameters and contact angles.

Product List

NMTHPS bearings come in a wide lineup and provide high rigidity and performance, with sealed options available for longer life.

Features

  • High rigidity & long life
A high-performance design specialized for ball screws realizes high rigidity and extended service life.
  • Reliable sealed options
Highly dust-resistant contact seals maintain performance.
  • Easy-to-handle

Reliable NMTHPS bearings with a compact, simplified design for reducing costs.

Features

  • Compact with high load capacity
  • High reliability
Significantly longer service life compared to standard angular contact ball bearings.
  • Low torque
An optimized ball bearing design realizes lower torque.

Grease-filled NMTHPS bearings with seals and mounting holes help simplify operations. These high-performance double-row angular contact ball bearings come arranged back-to-back (DB) with an integrated outer ring.

Features

  • No need to fill grease
Bearings come pre-packed with high-performance grease, eliminating difficult and messy grease filling.
  • Easy to mount/dismount
BSF types feature bolt holes and an extraction groove for easy handling.
  • Options for even longer life/higher rigidity
Matched DT pairs available for applications with large external loads or where high rigidity and long life are required.

FAQs

answers Loads are defined by their direction. Loads perpendicular to the shaft are called radial loads and loads parallel to the shaft are called axial (thrust) loads.

answers While DGBBs can handle axial loads in both directions, single-row angular contact ball bearings can only receive axial load in one direction.

answers Seals and shields offer additional protection for bearing components and help to improve and maintain lubrication. In terms of sealing performance, sealed bearings rank best, followed by shielded bearings, then finally open bearings.
NMT uses supplementary designations D, DU, DW, and V (DD, DDU, DDW, VV) for sealed bearings and Z (ZZ) for shielded bearings. No supplementary designations are listed for open bearings.
